Best Dating Books For Women
So when it comes to the best dating books for women, I want to share a range of dating books that will help you learn and grow in different areas.
Of course, there’s always ample of choices, but these top 10 dating books for women, will give you a nice base to get going with. So have a read of my suggestions, see which ones stand out to you the most, then start with those first.
These should build on the best books for single women, with more of a specific focus on learning / doing the things you need to, to drive more success when dating.
TOP TIP: I personally use Audible to listen to books as opposed to read. I find it more time-effective as you can learn whilst you drive, clean, walk – anything and everything!
Some of these books are also pretty heavy… and long too. So it’s a way to get through them faster, easier and stay more engaged. You can even make notes as you listen if you want to. That’s an especially effective way to digest new information.
Grab a free Audible trial here. There’s no cost, no catches and no pressure. It will just give you a taster to see if you like Audiobooks, and to see how well they work for you.
Remember – the more you learn, the more you grow. And I promise you – with the knowledge of these on your side, there will be no stopping you!
Top 10 Dating Books For Women in 2023
So, what have we got? Well, in no particular order, here’s our top 10 dating books for women, updated and recommended, this year.
1) Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus
So first off, I want to start with no other than: Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus.
It’s an absolute classic, timeless even. And it will allow you to tap into the minds of men for far more understanding.
I’ve read this, a couple of times actually, so this is one of my personal recommendations.
2) Never Chase Men Again
Next up on the best dating books for women, it’s the top-rated Never Chase Men Again by Bruce Bryans.
It helps you spot the signs he’s playing you, and gives you “player-proof” dating rules that are easy to digest, plus protect you in the world of dating today.
These are topped off with some interesting seduction secrets – shared from a men’s perspective. (Which is always handy to know!)
3) Why Men Love B*tches
Okay so excuse the title on this one, but this book takes you “From Doormat to Dreamgirl” and it’s vouched for by tens of thousands… that’s right, there’s nearly 12,000 reviews, giving it 4.5 stars!
See, this book offers a no-nonsense guide to what women want. And no, it’s not about actually being a b*tch… But instead, becoming the strong independent woman you know that you are.
Uh huh, it takes how to be happily single to the next level!
“Once you’ve discovered the feisty attitude men find so magnetic, you’ll not only increase the romantic chemistry—you’ll gain your man’s love and respect with far less effort.”
4) Get The Guy
Next up, it’s Get The Guy from Matthew Hussey. Now, do I believe there’s a better dating coach out there than me? No. No I don’t 😉 But let’s be fair, Matthew knows his stuff, and so it would be SELFISH not to recommend his book.
5) He’s Just Not That Into You
Another of my favourite dating books for women is “He’s Just Not That Into You”, written by writer and a consultant of S*x and the City. (Which is pretty cool, huh?)
I really like this one, because it’s like having your best friend on your shoulder, telling you how it is.
You learn the rules of male behaviour – what things mean, when to keep trying, and when to stop.
It just makes dating easier… and with the uplifting, humour writing style, it makes even the knock-backs and rejection, almost quite amusing! (Better to laugh than cry, right?!)
6) Dating Deeper
Next up, we’ve got Dating Deeper, and this is definitely one of my favourite dating books for women, because it cuts out all the crap and tells you what you really need to focus on…
Written by psychotherapist Ken Page, you’ll start to create more meaningful and lasting relationships.
“Learn how to attract people who love you for who you really are, become more self-assured and emotionally available, and lose your taste for relationships that diminish your self-esteem.”
This is absolutely vital. After all, “we accept the love we think we deserve.”
There’s exercises to put it right into practice, and practical tools throughout. People are raving about Dating Deeper (with good reason!), so it’s certainly one for the list.
7) Attached: The New Science of Adult Attachment
Sticking with the psychology based dating books, I also want to recommend Attached.
This is another best-seller, also recommended by the author of Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus (which is an awesome book in itself!)
“We already rely on science to tell us what to eat, when to exercise, and how long to sleep. Why not use science to help us improve our relationships?”
In this revolutionary book, psychiatrist and neuroscientist Dr. Amir Levine and Rachel Heller, it teaches you how to better identify attachment styles then use that to help you find love.
It’s pretty GENIUS, and we can’t get enough of it!
8) How To Not Die Alone
I’m all about these quirky titles when it comes to dating books for women, and not only is this dating book an eye-catcher, but also a page turner!
How To Not Die Alone teaches you how to find, build, and keep the relationship of your dreams – so it’s not just about the starting point of dating, but the development from there.
It slightly crosses over into the best relationship books for couples. But I really like this one as it incorporates insights from behavioral science, original research, and real-life stories.
It’s both educational and entertaining, so well deserving of a spot on our list of top dating books for women!
9) Relationship Goals
Another top-rated, New York Times Best Seller is Relationship Goals by Michael Todd. This adds a new dimension to our dating books for women list.
“A candid, inspiring guide to finding lasting love and sustaining a healthy relationship by getting real about your goals—based on the viral, multi-million-view sermon series about dating, marriage, and s*x.”
It’s a great dating book for women if you’re not entirely sure about what you want / need in a potential partner. It’s also super thought-provoking too.
Last but not least, the book to end our dating books for woman wish-list, and I’ve got to finish it with “Boundaries.”
With 16,500 reviews, and an amazing score of 4.5 stars, this book has helped over 4 million readers!
Learn when to say yes, how to say no and how to take control of your love life, to find and build the relationship you really deserve.
That’s All For This One
So there we have it, my top 10 recommendations when it comes to the best dating books for women.
These are a great starting point when it comes to finding love, and developing the right sort of relationship.
Is there something specific you’d like support with? Then remember, coaching is also an option. I’m a specialist dating and personal development coach. So I can get you where you want to be, far faster and easier. So, know that it’s there if you need it.
